This lovely, small rural house is located in the countryside between Castellana Grotte and Conversano, in the lower part of Murgia. The area is near to Torre Castiglione, a tower dating back to the 15th century which was built on an already existing one and therefore even more ancient rural settlement.
The surrounding land has beautiful olive groves and some fruit trees.
The building is divided into a room with vaulted ceiling and a fireplace and was used for living and another space which was reserved for the animals and farming tools, covered by a partly fallen pitch with wooden frame.
