Saint Anthony’s Church (Chiesa di S. Antonio), built on 1926, on top of the hill overarch the view on Monti District. Represent the typically alberobellese architectonic design with a dome of 21,50 m high and two trullis structures a side and a bell tower with a trullo shape.

Siamese Trullo (Trullo Siamese), one of the first constructed building made on top of a rock with it originally double shape is circumscribed  by buttress and the foundations made from boulder (hard sandstone) In the inside is equipped with a low fireplace and no windows. The story of this place tells that two brothers who lived on the same Trullo fall in love of the same young girl who promised faithfulness to the biggest brother. The youngest brother and the young lady felt in love behind of his back and this create a fight in the family. The biggest brother sent them away but his brother came back to claim his right on the Trullo and then this was divided in two. The jealous brother made another door on the back side of the Trullo which overlooks the other road.     

Sovereing Trullo (Trullo Sovrano), made on the first half of the XVIII century, it’s the only Trullo construction with an upper level, capturing in this way the best technique and stile on this type of constructions. The recognizable ingeniousness of the artist how create it as well the achievement of built-in an stair way to the second level, safe, cosily not encumbering and invisible.

The house of Love (La Casa d’Amore), placed in Ferdinando IV Square and built after the Declaration of Freedom in 1797 the House of Love is the representation of the Alberobellesi’s victory upon the Count of Conversano and his Law about the prohibition to make changes on the Trulli and not to use the mortar. The house was made with a different design than Trullo and with mortar as a sign of revelation against that law. At the front of the house you can read an inscription as remembrance of that incident.

The Sanctuary of Saint Cosma and Saint Damiano (Il Santuario dei SS. Cosma e Damiano), the church has a façade on a neoclassic stile of the 1885. The finishing of the outsides was completed years after but following the original design of the alberobellese architect Antonio Curri. The internal decoration are more recent and made by the decision of the Priests of the church. Besides the two beautiful statue of the city Guardians Cosma and Damiano you will also find another sacred images, fresco paints, altars, the church’s choir, an organ and other religious paintings.

The territorial museum (Il Museo del Territorio), located between the oldest group of Trulli ( XVII century) perfectly restore. The local government with an European finance has nowadays the samples of different aspects of the Trulllo and caves, from the culture of the material to the popular religious, from the craft made pieces to samples of the architecture made of stone, etc.  

Monti District (Rione Monti), include 1030 Trulli, you can arrived here from seven different artistically and colorful streets which takes you to the top of the hill where you will find the beautiful church of Saint Anthony and admire the unique trulli existing on the city.

Aia Piccola District (Rione Aia Piccola), its name “Aia” recalls a spacious clearing that in the times back was used for the threshing of the grain. All the district located at Southeast includes 400 trulli most of them residence. The area offers the idea of the old medieval village.
