Bosco Selva, is a park located a few hundred meters from the centre city, to South of Alberobello. You can take guided route walking in the forest or go with your bicycle to admire the thick vegetation of roverelle and fragni, as well the numerous wild animals (foxes, triton, rates, jays) you can also have the possibility to reach the locality of Locorotondo or the Valley of Itria. Barsento, to north of Alberobello, attainable on foot or in bicycle (about 5 Km) visits, besides the park, an ancient abbey of the VI Century and some farms of the zone. Pianelle, across the Bosco Selva route, it is reached the forest of the Pianelle in proximity of the town of Martina Franca to admire also here the thick vegetation of the area. Canale di Pilo, walked with mixed route, in the middle to trees of olive, cherry tree and almond tree, deposition of an ever set peasantry civility. Long the road is possible to stop in a small forest to refresh and to pick the excellent local mushrooms. |
